This assignment is to document a meeting of the City Council’s Budget Committee and a hearing/update on the Chicago Recovery Plan, which is how the city is allocating federal COVID-relief funds it received via the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). This hearing will specifically focus on spending related to affordable housing and arts and culture.
