The purposes of the Altadena Town Council are to act as a representative for the neighborhoods of Altadena, conveying the needs and wishes of the residents to any county, state or federal governmental body or agency, and to provide a forum to discuss local issues of concern.
The purpose of the BHNC shall be to promote a more vibrant community in the Boyle Heights neighborhood by establishing and open line of communication between the BHNC, the City of Los Angeles, the government, and other neighborhoods.
