  Sweetwater Authority Governing Board is composed of five directors electe
 d by division by the citizens of the South Bay Irrigation District\, and t
 wo directors appointed by the Mayor of National City\, subject to City Cou
 ncil confirmation.\n\nThe mission of Sweetwater Authority is to provide it
 s current and future customers with a safe and reliable water supply throu
 gh the use of the best available technology\, sound management practices\,
  public participation and a balanced approach to human and environmental n
 eeds.\n\nThey meet the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 5 pm  and 4th Wedne
