Committee discusses replacing or refurbishing 200-year-old Riverview Road bridge in Akron which may qualify for the National Register of Historic Places

A human resources staffer said item 2024-304 approves 2025 holidays for all employees (including non-unionized) Item passed unanimously
The staffer said item 2024-305 only authorizes staffing positions in the county and does not approve any salaries or benefits
They said the executive office has been reduced by 3 positions and the Sheriff's department is adding 10 positions including 3 laundry workers Overall staffing is reducing by 2 positions
