There is a question in the room about itemizing hazards for actionable plans.

About 50,000 rentals are slipping through the cracks 🫣!

They are talking about windows made of wood (possibly contaminated with lead) vs installing vinyl doors and windows.

Unfortunately, programs for window replacement have their own challenges 👀.

The local Lead Safe Resource Center is managed by the nonprofit Environmental Health Watch & is charged with operating a community-based location that makes available a wide range of information on lead safety. 🤝

Gina ♍ @GinaWalksDogs 14/19

The Center ASSISTS landlords and tenants, families impacted by lead, and the general community in understanding information and accessing available resources.

This Center also offers training to individuals to LEARN to test properties and remediate lead risk hazards.

Other cities have higher rates of Lead law compliance 👀 ouch.

(At least Clevelanders have better #AirQuality that NY this week 🤷🏾‍♀️)
