• During this meeting the Budget Committee received bi-annual budget presentations from the Office of Community Safety, 911, Fire, and Emergency Management.
• The newly established Office of Community Safety is requesting 6 FTEs, including an ongoing Chief of Staff position set at $207,331. The total office budget is just over $1 million for 2023 and 2024.
• The Fire Department is requesting a change item of $245,000 in one time funding and $200,000 in ongoing funding for technology that will update the fire department’s reporting system.
