The Norcross City Council is the legislative body of the city of Norcross. It is made up of five members who are elected to staggered two-year terms. The Norcross City Council votes on new laws and policies, as well as which services to provide and how to pay for and regulate them. The Council adopts an annual budget, establishes the tax levy, and takes actions that relate to the “security, welfare, convenience, and interest of the city.”
